The next course we’re offering is our SuperSet Course starting in March 2019 in Sports Wales, Cardiff. We understand that before committing to a course, you’re likely to have some questions which is exactly the reason for writing this blog post. We aim to answer any questions you may have regarding our SuperSet Course here …
Who is this course aimed at?
Our SuperSet Course is aimed at people interested in becoming a fitness instructor or personal trainer. A passion for fitness is required however, due to our low tutor-student ratio, we offer extensive support to get you to where you need to be.
“I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in looking to do a personal training course. Wes was very supportive and made all the sessions interesting even when doing the theory side of things. I joined the course late and worried about catching up but Wes made me feel as ease and helped me get on track. Can’t thank these guys enough especially Wes for all the help and support!!”
What will I get out of this course?
All of our courses are recognised and endorsed by REPs & CIMSPA. By completing our SuperSet Course, you’ll receive a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training which allows you to become a fully fledged personal trainer and fitness instructor.
The course provides multiple student resources including electronic material, manuals, Power-Points, student login area and office 365 shared document which means that you’ll have a library of resources at your fingertips if you ever need to recap. We also offer extensive student-support and guidance both short and long term so even once you have graduated and qualified, you’ll still have access to support networks within Fit2Train if needed.
How long will the course take to complete & how much will it cost?
We understand that when looking to train/retrain/enhance your existing qualifications, it’s not always easy to take time out of your current job role or put your life on hold, which is why we created weekend workshops. We aim to make this learning experience as stress free and convenient for you as possible by spreading the training over six weekend workshops:
•Session 1: 16th – 17th Mar 2019
•Session 2: 13th – 14th Apr 2019
•Session 3: 18th – 19th May 2019
•Session 4: 22nd – 23rd Jun 2019
•Session 5: 20th – 21st Jul 2019
•Session 6: 17th – 18th Aug 2019
The total cost is £1495 and payments can be spread over a 6, 12 or 15 month period meaning that you only pay either £250, £120 or £96 per month, respectively. You can reserve a space by placing a £50 deposit anytime between now and March. Due to our low student-teacher ratio, courses tend to fill up months in advance which is why we advise you to secure your place ahead of time. It’s also worth mentioning that there’s no referral or re-sit costs and 0% interest charged on course fees.
“Absolutely loved my time with Fit2Train, such an amazing company with the best staff possible to teach you. I have now done something I never thought I would be able to achieve thanks to everyone at fit2train. I would 1 million % recommend them to anyone.”
How is the course structured?
We take a blended learning approach which combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student during the 120 hours of contact-time on the course blended with some independent learning activities with full guidance provided.
We boast an extremely highly skilled, experienced and currently active team of staff and tutors in Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning, Fitness Centre Management, Academic Research, Academic Programme Leadership and Peer-Reviewed Publications. Over the years we have adopted a variety of unique teaching methods which has led us to what is now a well rounded and highly engaging programme with a proven track record – you can find testimonials on Google where we have a 4.9 star rating and over 45 reviews.
“After joining the course late and missing out on the first few training blocks I was a bit skeptical on what to expect. Wes did a fantastic job with making sure that I knew everything I needed to know in preparation for the exams. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming and found the course cheaper than most of the others but also more value for money. Anyone sitting on the fence should definitely go for it!”
What are the facilities like?
Our SuperSet Course is held at Sport Wales, Cardiff. We chose Sport Wales because of its exceptional facilities and central location. From grassroots sport to the Principality Stadium, Sport Wales is home to a nation of champions. You can learn more about Sport Wales here.
“I have recently gained my level 2 and level 3 qualifications. I really enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. I would highly recommend fit2train to anyone who is looking to become fitness instructor or a PT. I was impressed by professional but also stress free approach during each session and throughout the whole course. Wes always tried his best to help everyone in the group with our individual development needs. I am very grateful for the knowledge, help and guidance!”
What happens when the course is over?
Something that makes us unique is the aftercare we provide. We understand that it can be daunting to take your first steps after qualifying which is why we provide a high level of business development support, links with key fitness sector institutions as well as access routes into the Fitness Industry. The results of this can be seen through our excellent Alumni record.
